Heavy duty covers are approximately 1/3 thicker and heavier and more hard wearing than the standard weight covers and are normally preferred by professional traders. The advantage of a standard weight cover is that they are lighter and cheaper and if an inexperienced trader accidentally punches a hole in the sheet with a clip or stall bar it is cheaper to replace, this is the reason they are sent out with our starter kits.

Is there a standard or normal size for a Market Stall?
When people think of a Market Stall they usually picture something like our
Standard Traditonal Market Stall which can be found on markets nationwide. This is essentially the 'standard'. However, pitch sizes vary from market to market and region to region. For example, London pitches tend to be smaller, between 6ft to 8ft in length, whereas in the midlands they are usually between 10ft and 12ft and in Scotland they're more likely to be 12ft. Check with the market operator for full details. Size restrictions aside it also depends greatly upon what you're selling, for instance gold and jewellery would suit a smaller Market Stall of 6ft to 10ft in length whereas womens' fashion may require a Market Stall of 20ft or more.

Yes, we hire out 8ft x 4ft traditional table stalls in medium to large quantities for all types of events. We do not hire individual Market Stalls unless you intend to collect from our business premises. Please note, a large vehicle or trailer will be required for collection. See our
